Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program 2018 Spring/ Summer Share Contract.  Membership Agreement

What we provide:  A weekly basket of fresh, local, organically and sustainably raised fruits and veggies!

Please register me as a member of Heidi's Homegrown & Organics Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program for the upcoming growing season.  I have read the article under "CSA Info" and I understand that farming is a seasonal and unpredictable undertaking, and that exact selections and quantities included in the weekly distribution will change as the season progresses.  In joining the CSA, I agree to share in the fluctuations and variations inherent in farming, and understand that my produce will be locally grown with sound sustainable farming practices. I understand the "shared risk" in joining any CSA Share program and therefore understand that no refunds will be given.

A typical share will generally feed a family of three, depending on individual eating habits.  Each share will contain anywhere from 5-10 various fruits and vegetables.  Some crops we are expecting to share this season are:  asparagus, strawberries, fresh herbs, new potatoes, spring onions, greens, blueberries, cabbage, cucumbers, green beans, squash, zucchinni, beets, apples, pears, lettuce, cantaloupe, watermelon, eggplant, spinach, peaches, nectarines, apricots, peppers, sweet corn, tomatoes (heirloom, hanover, & traditional varieties). Other crops will also be available as provided by our farmers. Also, when available, we will add home-baked goods, fresh-cut flowers, or home-canned preserves

Our share period will run from April 25, 2018 - August 29, 2018.  There will be no CSA pick-up the 4th of July week.  In case of a blizzard, tornado, hurricane, flooding, heat indexes exceeding 100 degrees, or other acts of nature which would make travel unsafe, there will be no pick-up for that week, pick-ups would resume as normal the following week.  In case a member is unable to pick-up any particular week, they may assign someone else to pick up their share, or double up on their share the following week.  In either of these situations, Heidi's Homegrown & Organics MUST be notified by email, in ADVANCE of scheduled pick-up date. If notice is not given IN ADVANCE, the share is forfeited.  Forfeited shares are donated to the needy when possible.
